The Good Design Access Process - Interior Design in Westport, CT
Consultation - A consultation includes up to two hours of suggestions on how to get your project moving in the right direction. Whether it’s selecting wall colors, arranging furniture, or determining where to hang your art, I help you define your style for your design project.
Interior Design - We discuss your likes and dislikes, your preferences for color and texture, your overall style, and determine the level of involvement you would like to have in the design project’s execution. Our focus will be on color, furniture, fabrics, color, floor coverings, and accessories, using eco-friendly modern design materials whenever possible. We consider the relationship between the interior space and the exterior setting, factoring natural light and the geographical landscape to create harmony and balance between the two. Contemporary and classic elements are combined to create timeless environments.
Redesign Plan - After a visit to your home, I create a custom design plan that explains how your furniture and accessories might be better placed and that details new items, costs, and placement, allowing you to make new purchases at your own pace.
Redesign plans can also help sellers target buyers by depersonalizing a home thereby enabling potential buyers to picture the home as their own. This reduces a home’s time on the market and maximizes sellers’ financial return.
One-Day Redesign - After we discuss your home and family needs, we schedule one day in which I move existing home furnishing, perhaps from other areas of the home, and rearrange them to create stylish, livable spaces.
I am going to make everything around me beautiful. That will be my life. - Elsie de Wolfe
